It’s been a week now since we began our so anticipated three months journey “From 0 to 4014 meters”.

We started in Singapore, and this was quite a start! We didn’t see a city like this before. It has it all and for all budgets. Yes, you can spend your time on a budget in Singapore, but about that we will write some other time.

The attractions are so many, but well connected. We spent hours wandering around magnificent gardens, we were astonished by the architectural wonders, we felt the spirit of the Chinese New Year celebration and we were amazed by the beasts in the famous Singapore zoo.

Some people say that big cities are not for the kids – we can tell from first hand that Singapore definitely is! Jaka was very sad to leave this place, because there’s a lot of fun for the little ones too, not forget to mention that people loved him and showed this all the time.

These are the top 3 things to do with kids in Singapore:

1.Children´s Garden at Gardens By The Bay

This huge playground on open air it´s a MUST when traveling with a kid in Singapore. Especially the Water Play area. Make sure you stay also after dark – it gets even better! It is that good that we had to come back three times and our 6 years old kid almost cried when we had to leave Singapore.

2. Singapore ZOO

This is the place were we saw some animals for the very first time. It has a great variety of animals, but ones that we liked the most were the orangutans and the polar bear. We just stared at these amazing creatures and couldn´t go away.

3. Gardens By The Bay

This architectural masterpiece in natural surroundings amazes people of all ages. The Supertree Grove deserves a special attention, especially the skyway among the supertrees. It´s a walkway among these amazing trees, but on 22 meters hight! The views are spectacular, and again – if you´re there when the lights are turned on, you will have even greater experience.

This is a short description of what you can do with kids in Singapore. We could talk about it for hours. Hopefully someday our paths will bring us here again. We would really like to feel this vibrant atmosphere once more and yes, this is a city we could easily live in.
